Does it hurt to lie on the Acupressure Mat?

During the first few minutes you may experience a slightly painful sensation. We recommend that you stay with this sensation and spend some time breathing deeply into your abdomen. After a few minutes a warm sensation will develop where the points touch your body. Blood circulation increases very quickly and this will help to dissolve any tension. Any sensations of ‘pins and needles’ will disappear and be replaced by a deep feeling of relaxation, as after a good night of deep sleep.

How does the Acupressure Mat promote relaxation?

How long should I lie on the Acupressure Mat?
