Since the rainy season came my sciatica has been very painful, but with 20 minutes a day on the acupressure mat, it has relieved up to 90% of the pain, (at the same time giving me a 15 minute catnap which I couldn’t help do,)and then for other 10% of pain I used my magnetic belt, without the mat the magnetic belt would not have worked so well.Thankyou Sam & Gunn, such a great pain reliever, I never would have thought it would have worked so well on my double sciatica. Now I am able to sit on the rideon mower again and get the gardening done.

It took a few times using the mat to get used to the spikes and also I find it difficult to lie flat on my back so that wasn’t helping, however after only a month of using it every night and building up the time I could stay on it

I have found that my pain has noticeably decreased.

I moved house recently and realised that for the first time in a long time I had noticeably less pain after lifting and loading, I am confident that with regular and ongoing use it will only continue to improve.

My lower/middle back problem occured in the late sixties when I was young and fit, I lived with it for a while and thought it went away. Eventually it came back to plague me and I leant to live with a back brace and pain killers.
Since I was given the acupressure mat to try, the pain killers have past their ‘use by date’ and the back brace is only used as a preventative measure when I attempt something adventurous.
Whilst I don’t understand the mechanics of the interaction between the acupressure mat and back problem I can testify to the remedial effect it has with regular use. It has changed my life/lifestyle, I wouldn’t be without it now and the fact that it is so compact and portable is a real bonus.

I’ve been using acupressure mat for 3 and1/2 months. For the last 12 weeks I’ve used it every day – usually twice a day – for 20-30 minutes each time. Once in the morning to relieve stiffness, soreness and general lassitude. This is how I start my day!  For almost every day of the last 12 weeks I’ve also used the acupressure mat in the late afternoon. This is to concentrate on my hip. Most times I fall asleep and subsequently wake revitalised.

Since using the acupressure mat I’ve had much more energy, my shoulder pain has gone and my hip is definitely improving. Before I started using the mat, there were many days when it was impossible for me to walk to the local shops, now I’m back to walking along the creek for an hour on every second day.

I’m so pleased I started using the acupressure mat! I can say in all truth that it’s really changed my life. My shoulder pain has gone, my hip has drastically improved, my energy increased 100% and I really do feel years younger. Sounds corny but it’s true

“I’m addicted to it now, especially at night to ensure I get a good nights sleep. A nagging ache in my hip that had me tossing and turning most nights has become a distant memory, thanks no doubt to the pain relieving properties of my nightly acupressure mat sessions.”

“Living in the country, outside of town, it is good to have relief for muscle pain at hand – the Shakti Mat relieves any twinges I get from feeding out hay, gardening and other heavy jobs around the property and being able to relieve these aches and pains in the comfort of my own home is a real bonus.”

I have been using the mat for 3 months and 10 mins a day , for short term relief from my back pain.

The mat relieves my lower back pain and shoulder pain instantly. Initially I found the mat a bit uncomfortable to use and the spikes seemed a bit harsh but the relief I received from it soon outweighed that discomfort. In the early stages I used the mat with a very thin cotton cloth ( sarong) and I still benefited from the pressure. I was soon surprised to find that when listening to a meditation tape I actually fell asleep. I would then wake up with NO back or shoulder pain and also with a feeling of refreshed relaxation that using the mat became something that I would look forward to.

Definitely helping with lower back and sciatic pain, body responding more quickly in upper back and shoulder/neck area.

I am relaxing more while on it and time from start to relaxing into it getting shorter.

After getting used to the prickles, found it was relaxing my tension and muscles considerably.

Relaxing sometimes to the point of falling asleep.

Has helped my back problem a lot.

I’ve found a lot of relief in my shoulder. For over 3 years I’ve gone to bed at night with a hot water bottle, after using the mat for 3 days I haven’t needed that hot water bottle.

My aching, stiff shoulder has improved a great deal. It’s like it was 4 years ago

My circulation has really livened up. I’m remarkably less stiff, able to walk longer and, overall, I feel so much more vital! I can’t tell you how good it is not to be creaking around

Yes I do get pain relief from it.

It’s a temporary thing as the pain comes back after a time .But I must say better than taking pain killers and stuffing up your kidneys

I found the mat quite helpful for lower back and hip pain. I would recommend it to pain sufferers, it’s compact and ready to use even when you are away on trips

I didn’t feel like an 80yr when I got up in the mornings

JM (Female 40′s)

I suffer from sciatica and restless legs at night which causes me to wake frequently and toss & turn.

Using the mat for 20mins each night before I go to sleep has enabled me to get a good nights rest without any pain or restlessness in my legs or the use of painkillers.

I also find if I stand on the mat for 20 minutes after a busy day my legs stop aching.

I find if I miss using the mat for 2 nights in a row, my symptoms come back and I need to get on the mat.

LC Townsville (Female 40′s)

I have tried the mat and find it wonderful…..so much so that I look forward to my daily session.

Usually 20 minutes or more

I have used it daily and twice I have used it twice a day.

I have found it relieves the pain in my lower back and left hip.
